West Ham United confirmed XI v Leeds United: Said Benrahma axed
West Ham have named their starting line-up for their Premier League clash against Leeds United at Elland Road on Wednesday (4 January).
The Hammers are heading into this game on the back of a 2-0 defeat against Brentford and they have lost five games in a row in the Premier League.
Via Twitter, the club have confirmed the starting 11 and David Moyes has made four changes to the side that started in the previous game.
Nayef Aguerd starts while Thilo Kehrer is back into the side as well. Tomas Soucek returns to the starting line-up alongside Pablo Fornals.
Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna, Emerson and Said Benrahma have been dropped.
Must win
It is a must-win game for the Hammers but it won’t be easy to get something away at Elland Road.
The Hammers boss has come under intense pressure to keep his job, and another poor result could put an end to his reign.
Moyes has done an incredible job at West Ham, but probably the club need fresh ideas at the moment.
When he took charge of the club, the Hammers were battling for survival and in three years he took them to the semi-finals of the Europa League.

The club backed him heavily in the summer transfer window, with the Hammers spending over £150m on several new players.
However, the results haven’t improved. The Hammers are potentially facing the prospect of a relegation battle, and this is simply unacceptable.
There is a lack of cohesion in the squad and Moyes is struggling to get the best out of his summer recruits.
Hopefully, we can get a win on Wednesday and get our season back on track.
