David Moyes is expected to make changes, including the return of Nayef Aguerd, for tonight’s Europa Conference League showdown with Gent, according to ExWHUemployee.

The London Stadium is set for another enthralling European night under the lights as the club strives toward the first major trophy in 43 years.

“The Hammers boss will be boosted by the news that Nayef Aguerd is available for selection having missed the Arsenal game with a minor knock – as exclusively revealed on The West Ham Way Podcast this week by ExWHUEmployee.”

Seize the moment

Last week in Belgium, the team was fortunate to come out of that game with a draw. A much better performance will be required tonight if the job is to be completed.

The momentum and belief gained from Sunday’s valiant comeback against Arsenal, a great second-half performance, should favour the players against Gent.

Moyes’ men need to use that performance as the catalyst for a successful end to the season on both fronts, to get Premier League survival confirmed as soon as possible and to continue the European run.

With the semi-final in touching distance, it is no surprise that for some, thoughts are already drifting to the final in Prague. That is understandable but there is plenty of work to be done to ensure that it happens.

First of all, it’s time to seize the moment on and off the pitch against Gent for a place in the last four.
