West Ham United captain Declan Rice admits he is back to his best
West Ham United captain Declan Rice admits he is back to his best form and wants to play as much football as he can this season.
Rice struggled at the start of the Premier League season to find some form as he and West Ham United tussled to find points.
Now the West Ham captain has admitted he’s found his “groove” and is back to the level he feels he can play his best football at, something that’s shown in recent performances.

“Personally, I feel like I’m back to my level, even though I didn’t think I was too far off at the start of the season,” said Rice speaking to whufc.com.
“I want to play as much as possible. I train every day and I play every game I can. I know I’m in a privileged position and I actually want to play more games, as the more appearances I can get, the better it looks for me, so I want to keep pushing.
“I don’t like it when there is a week in between games. I like it that we’re in Europe because it means we’re playing every three or four days, because that’s how you find your groove.”

Phenomenal.
West Ham United deserved more than nothing in Wednesday evening’s clash against Liverpool at Anfield and Rice was a stand-out performer.
The 23-year-old midfielder was sensational and was truly back to his best form, dominating play in the middle of the park for the Hammers.
It was the midfielder’s best performance of the season so far and a testament to his grit and drive to overcome a poor run of form.
He drove the Irons on when needed but also provided essential cover for his defence, a backline that looked shaky at times against a formidable Liverpool attack.
Rice again proved his importance to David Moyes’ side, he’ll be pivotal if the Hammers are to gain European football again this season.
The only problem with Rice putting in sensational outings against top opposition is that the Premier League’s finest will come calling in the summer.
The day Rice leaves the London Stadium will be a bad one, the midfielder is currently irreplaceable.
