West Ham United can take points off Manchester City – Don Hutchinson
West Ham United’s final home game of the season will be against Premier League leaders Manchester City who could even wrap the title up at the London Stadium.
That scenario would require Liverpool dropping points somewhere along the line but with Pep Guardiola’s side looking formidable, it is a tall ask for the Reds.
West Ham could provide Jurgen Klopp with a chance though if they can perform at their best when the Citizens come to the capital on Sunday 15 May.

BBC pundit Don Hutchinson believes that the trip to take on the Hammers could be the game in which City slip up in the relentless race for the Premier League crown this season.
“It’s West Ham away in Mark Noble’s last game at the London Stadium this season,” Hutchinson said on the BBC’s Football Daily Podcast. “That is where I think Manchester City might drop points.”
City first have to take on Wolves on Wednesday (11 May) at Molineux while David Moyes’ side can fully focus on the weekend’s clash having been knocked out of the Europa League in the semi-final.
Party poopers
For much of this season, West Ham United have been the side expected to win after having such a good season last year and they have risen to the occasion many times over the course of 2021/22.
So it’s quite refreshing to go into this contest as the supposed underdogs when you look at City’s incredible squad and their league position.

Guardiola has enjoyed some big successes at the London Stadium in the past and he will understandably fancy his chances again but things could be very different this time.
As Hutchinson mentions, it will be Mark Noble’s last ever home game as a West Ham player before he retires from playing at the end of this season and it will be an emotionally-charged afternoon unquestionably.
Much like in the Irons’ last game at the Boleyn Ground, they could just turn up for the occasion and surprise one of the world’s best football teams and swing the title pendulum one more time.
In other West Ham news, David Sullivan is set to for out a huge £33million to help someone else buy another football club.
