West Ham United can make offer Hull ‘can’t refuse’ for Keane Lewis-Potter – BBC pundit
Keane Lewis-Potter has been Hull City’s standout player for the past couple of seasons ever since Jarrod Bowen left the MKM Stadium for West Ham.

Everton and Newcastle are thought to be the other side who have made an approach to sign the Englishman but the Championship side have held firm up until this point.

BBC pundit Carlton Palmer though believes there will come a time when Hull will need to admit defeat and accept an offer that is simply unrefusable.
“I’m sure they’ll be sitting down with him and wanting to tie him to a longer-term contract and keep him happy,” Palmer said to Football League World.
“You want to keep moving forward, you don’t want to be losing your better player(s), because then you’re gonna be going backwards.
“But of course, there always comes a point, they will do with West Ham with Declan Rice, that you get an offer that you just can’t refuse.”
Push the boat out
If West Ham have already tested the waters, then maybe now is the time we should cast off and go all out if we really want him to come to the London Stadium.

We have already seen with Bowen how good these EFL talents can be and he’s recently gone on to earn a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the Nations League.
If Lewis-Potter turns out anywhere near as good as that then David Moyes will have pulled off a masterstroke if he chooses to commit this summer and beat Everton and Newcastle to the punch.
He might, understandably, have his sights set higher than the Championship for signings ahead of a second successive European campaign but you can’t ignore when players perform to such high levels just one division below the Premier League.
We have the best second tier in world football and we would be simply stupid not to utilise this opportunity to bring another youngster into the big time and hope to see him flourish in claret and blue.
In other West Ham news, we are prepared to pursue an alternative goalkeeper option if the Magpies swoop in and steal Alphonse Areola at the 11th hour.
