West Ham United agree deal in principle to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca
West Ham United have agreed a deal in principle for the transfer of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca in a deal worth over £34million according to 90min.
90min has also revealed on Friday 15 July that the Italy international is David Moyes’ first-choice to rival Michail Antonio ahead of Chelsea youngster Armando Broja.
However, West Ham still need to agree personal terms with the striker although it has been suggested that he is keen on a move to the London Stadium.
Pay him what he wants
Initially, it was unclear whether Scamacca would even consider a move to the London Stadium with the striker potentially settled in Italy.
However, it now appears that he has warmed to the idea of a move to the Premier League and now the final obstacle for the club to overcome will be agreeing to personal terms with the Italy striker.

Ultimately the Hammers shouldn’t break their wage structure to sign Scamacca, but they should certainly consider making him one of their highest-earning players.
The 23-year-old hotshot is exactly what West Ham fans have been crying out for.
He’s a goalscorer but also a physical presence that will provide some fierce competition for Antonio in the 2022/23 season.
There should be absolutely no hesitation from the Hammers in being forthcoming when talks on personal terms do emerge.
If the Hammers can get a deal for the striker over the line then there will be real excitement and optimism heading into the new Premier League campaign.
Let’s all hope it gets done.
