West Ham United advance talks over Terem Moffi in transfer update
West Ham United have advanced talks to sign Lorient striker Terem Moffi over a potential £25m deal, according to Mail Sport.
Sky Sports revealed on 15 January that the Hammers had launched a bid for Moffi, a deal which now seems to be progressing in the London club’s favour.
Moffi helped Lorient escape Ligue 1 relegation last season and this experience could prove to be vital to West Ham United as they try to navigate their own doomed fate.

“West Ham have held further talks with Lorient over a potential £25million deal for striker Terem Moffi,” as quoted by Mail Sport. (15 January)
“The proposal is understood to be £20m with a further £5m for Moffi, a Nigeria international, who has scored 12 goals in 18 games this season.”

Pacey.
Moffi is a pacey, ruthless and clinical forward and a talent who could blossom in the Premier League for West Ham United.
He’s only second to Kylian Mbappe in the Ligue 1 top goalscorers charts at the moment and the 23-year-old still hasn’t reached the peak of his powers.
With Michail Antonio’s future up in the air and Gianluca Scamacca’s form hitting some stumbling blocks, making a move for a fresh face up top may be a smart move from the Hammers.
And a move to the London Stadium looks likely now after this latest development, his relegation know-how will be needed in the coming months.
New signings are definitely a necessity but with David Moyes’ job up in the air, it is quite odd that the club are making such a big move.
The Scot may only have one more game in charge of the Irons and his future is looking extremely bleak, to say the least.
