West Ham accept £18million offer for Grady Diangana from West Brom – report

West Ham United have accepted an offer worth up to £18million from West Brom for winger Grady Diangana, according to Football London.

The electric winger spent last season on loan at the Hawthorns and appears to be heading back to the midlands after this offer was placed.

David Moyes admitted he was looking forward to working with Diangana, although that appears to have changed with the Irons having limited budgets.

Football London reported that the initial offer is set at £12million from the Baggies, although there are significant add-ons.

It is suggested in the report that Diangana was expected to become a regular starter at the London Stadium, but Felipe Anderson and Pablo Fornals are said to be ahead of him.

West Ham are struggling to offload the likes of Manuel Lanzini, and they need to sell a number of players in order to boost their transfer budget.

Diangana appears to have become a victim of that.

West Ham fans have reacted exactly how we would expect them too, furiously. They can’t believe that they have one, allowed Diangana to leave and two, for so cheap.

It was widely reported that the 22-year-old would cost up to £20million and the Hammers won’t get anywhere near that upfront for one of their brightest talents.

Diangana has been superb in this pre-season for the Irons, and it is so difficult to work out why Moyes will let this deal happen – unless it has been taken out of his hands, we hope not.
