West Ham U-23s head coach Dmitri Halajko set to leave club
West Ham are planning to shake up their academy this season, according to ExWHUemployee.
Under-23s head coach Dmitri Halajko is set to be shown the exit door in the coming weeks at the London Stadium.
Jeremy Sauer, the academy’s assistant manager is also expected to leave with many others set to part ways over the course of the season.

In his Patreon update, he wrote, “We have been told that there will be a bit of a shakeup at academy level.
“Dmitri Halajko, the head under 23s coach, is set to leave within the next month.
“Other key people are expected to be on their way later on in the season including Jeremy Sauer who is the assistant academy manager.”
Big news
The Hammers academy has seen an influx of a lot of good young talent over the last 12-18 months and it seemed like the structure in place would be the one to cater to their development.
However, with the head coach departing followed by the assistant manager, the board certainly have a plan of changing the way things work there.

We believe that David Moyes could have had a say in this matter as he has been made a bigger part of the decision making at the club since the last season and him penning an extension.
Most of the signings that he’s got through the door have been successes and we can’t wait to see the fruits of this development at the academy level.
While it may not affect the first team this season, over the next few years, there will be a number of graduates looking to make that step up and if the quality is remarkably higher than that of the current crop, then the Hammers fans are in for a treat.
There’s nothing that makes the faithful happier than to see one of their own join the club in their formative years and go on to become first-team regulars over the course of their career.
It remains to be seen whether this will be the right move by the club.
