West Ham to receive £500,000 from their Carabao Cup game against Manchester United
West Ham are set to pocket £500,000 from their win at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup, according to a report from Claret & Hugh.
They claim that the Hammers could have picked up £1m, but that amount is significantly lower because of tax reductions and the price of the hotels and flights.
Still, it is a nice little bonus for the Irons who have made a profit and progressed into the next round of the competition, where they will be hoping for a big crowd against Manchester City.

Manchester United made 11 changes from the side that narrowly beat the Irons on Sunday, but David Moyes made ten changes himself, and they still came away with a win.
Therefore, they deserve huge credit for going to Old Trafford, keeping a clean sheet, and coming away with a fine 1-0 victory.
