West Ham to potentially miss out on the signing of Adam Hlozek but they should be doing all they can to get him
West Ham look like they might miss out on the signing of Adam Hlozek from AC Sparta Prague, despite holding “lengthy talks” with the 18-year-old, according to a report from 90min.
They claim that since the Hammers held talks with him, “interest in him has intensified”, which means that it is now “doubtful” that he will move to the London Stadium as there are “more appealing options” out there.
Hlozek has made seven appearances for his country and 85 senior appearances for his club, which is incredible given how young he is. He has been linked with a move to Liverpool, and it looks as if the Hammers are going to miss out [Football Insider].

If this is how it works then the Hammers are missing out on a special talent and could rue this missed opportunity.
At only 18, the forward has already drawn a lot of attention and earned himself a lot of praise.
His agent Pavel Paska speaking to Aktualne has described him as an “extraordinary” player, while he has also been described as “amazing” and “the future of Czech football” by Football Talent Scout.
So, he is clearly someone who would have improved the Hammers. Considering how young he is, it is unbelievable that he has made so many senior appearances and has also scored a good number of goals, bagging 28 for his club.

In truth, Hlozek could be an ideal signing for the Hammers given his age and scoring record already; you would also think that David Moyes could use him as a rotation option with Michail Antonio.
Also, training with Antonio could help him pick up some skills that could help him improve as a footballer. He is also from the Czech Republic and is said to be friends with Tomas Soucek, so this move could make perfect sense [90min].
Therefore, it is a huge shame that, as it stands, the Hammers will be missing out on Hlozek, and we hope that they find a way to convince the 18-year-old that his future should be at the London Stadium.
A major re-think of our strategy is needed here.
