West Ham target Divock Origi ‘will be tempted’ by move – reliable journalist
West Ham fans have been provided with a boost in their bid to sign Liverpool forward Divock Origi with the Belgian keen to leave Anfield.
The 26-year-old has been a perennial substitute for the majority of Jurgen Klopp’s reign at the Merseyside club and now he wants to play more often.
According to transfer insider Dean Jones [via Give Me Sport], there is definitely temptation on Origi’s side with the prospect of regular games in Europe nearing closer.

“I definitely think it’s something that he will be tempted by,” Jones said, “Especially if Moyes can get in his ear and explain to him what his plans are for the season. The challenge for the top five, or whatever they’re aiming for and also in Europe.”
A needed option
West Ham’s attack hasn’t been of any issue to David Moyes this season with goals coming in big numbers across all competitions.
Defensively, they have been a little more suspect with injuries not helping the situation at the back.
But there is an argument to suggest a striker, like Origi, is a more important addition than strengthening the defence.
Currently, Michail Antonio is the only recognised striker in the Hammers squad and he has been in sensational form for the Irons this season.
Worryingly though, he is starting to show signs of slowing down with only four goals in his last 16 appearances.
The Jamaican also has injury concerns and losing him for a long time would currently be highly detrimental to the club’s ambitions.
So while Moyes would love to bring in defensive reinforcements as well, he may have to prioritise securing a competent backup for Antonio and Origi is the right kind of player for the job.
An expiring contract in 18 months at Anfield could mean he is available for a cut price which would help fund Moyes’ defensive search.
In other West Ham news, the club are ready to launch a multi-million-pound offer for this Brazilian star.
