West Ham could look to seal a move for Liverpool forward Divock Origi closer to transfer deadline day, claims ExWHUemployee.
The Hammers’ quest for a striker this summer has been well documented and they have recently added the Belgian attacker to their transfer list.
However, as the reliable West Ham insider reports, there’s no urgency at the club to get this one over the line as soon as possible.

The Express reported that Liverpool could sell the Belgium international for around £15 million.
Regardless, Hammers fans on Facebook are open to the idea of getting the 26-year-old to the London Stadium this summer.
Here’s what they said:

Valid point
For £15million, we’re unlikely to sign quality strikers and Origi at that rate, could prove to be a bargain in the future.
He’s a striker who has the ability of being in the right place at the right time and knows how to find the back of the net.
He certainly would be an upgrade on Michail Antonio and would finally get regular game time to prove his worth.
Injuries have been a concern for him in the past and that’s one reason why David Moyes could opt to look the other way.

However, with no other striker appearing close to a move, Origi appears our safest best.
Hopefully, we sign a striker sooner rather than later as we’re all set to start the new campaign without a recognised number nine.
The board have continued to let us down.
