West Ham supporters have not backed the club’s decision to reportedly make an enquiry for Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, the Hammers want to bring the 30-year-old back to the Premier League.

They’ve also made initial contact to discuss his price and availability with Serie A giants Juventus.

However, the player’s injury concerns and lack of playing time recently may serve as major red flags.

The fact that he’s also on the wrong side of 30 means that the club could look at younger midfielders.

Their decision to go for Ramsey has certainly not sat well with the Irons faithful.

Better to stay away

Ramsey’s understood to be on big wages at the Serie A club and even if he takes a massive pay cut to force a move to the London Stadium, it would result in West Ham having to break their wage structure.

He’s not a player who can take this club to the next level either, and neither do the Hammers need anyone in midfield currently.

If they have the funds to pay such heavy wages, then we would rather see the board going for other players.

A new striker and left-back is the need of the hour rather than a midfielder, who arguably has his best days behind him.
