West Ham Super Fans have flocked to a post on West Ham Zone’s Facebook page about Martin Braithwaite.

Sport claim that the Hammers have submitted a “firm offer” for the Danish international but that the player is waiting for a move to Tottenham Hotspur instead.

They claim that the former Middlesbrough striker is waiting to see if Harry Kane moves on from Spurs as he is seen as a potential replacement for the 27-year-old. Clearly, our Super Fans are not keen on the idea of signing Braithwaite.

The 30-year-old was an important player for Denmark during the Euros and made six appearances for his country as they reached the semi-finals.

He has also scored eight goals for Barcelona in 53 appearances, which is a pretty poor goalscoring record.

Also, if he is waiting for a move to Spurs, then the Hammers shouldn’t even bother and should just simply move on.

It is clear that our loyal and passionate Super Fans don’t rate Braithwaite and would rather see him move to Spurs instead, and we would have to agree with them on this one.

Braithwaite is not the type of player the Hammers want because he clearly sees a move to the London Stadium as a reserve option, which is a horrible attitude to have.

In other West Ham news, David Moyes has revealed what he expects from the Hammers this season.
