West Ham star Pablo Fornals blows Carlton Cole away

West Ham star Pablo Fornals impressed Carlton Cole after coming on as a substitute against Rapid Vienna in the Europa League.

The Spaniard started the game on the bench but came on in a triple change and clearly impressed the former Irons striker who was working as a pundit on BT Sport.

This was a strong display from the Spaniard, who seems to be going from strength to strength.

“Fornals, what a player.

“When he comes on, he can change the momentum of the game.

“I feel he is an integral part [of] David Moyes’ team because he’s so underrated and doesn’t get talked about enough.”

Good stuff from Fornals.

Even though the 25-year-old didn’t start the match, he still made a huge impact on the game, and he deserves this praise from Cole.

The Hammers have quality all over the field, and in the end, they wrapped up the match with a late winner from Said Benrahma.

The Algerian actually pinched the ball from Fornals to score his goal, but the Spaniard was still one of the first players over to celebrate with Benrahama.

Fornals has been called up to the Spain squad again, and if he keeps playing like this, then there is no reason that Fornals cannot keep improving and growing as a player [West Ham website].

This was a strong display from most Irons players, but even in his short time on the pitch, Fornals was a standout player and should have had an assist when he played the ball through to Jarrod Bowen, who skied his effort.

In other West Ham news, some Irons were involved in an incident before the match.
