West Ham ‘source’ shares Said Benrahma January exit update as Irons wait for offers
West Ham United have not yet received any offers or interest in Said Benrahma during the January transfer window, according to Claret and Hugh.
The outlet reported on its website on Thursday (4 January) that the Hammers are yet to receive any interest in any of their players other than Thilo Kehrer during the opening four days of the winter transfer window.
Links suggesting that Benrhama is of interest to Ligue 1 and La Liga sides are nothing more than rumours at the moment, but the Hammers are ready to allow the Algerian winger to depart the London Stadium for the right fee.

Claret & Hugh also added that a club source said any suggestion of an impending exit was mere paper talk.
They wrote: “A club source said: ‘The Benrahma rumours are precisely that but we will consider any if and when they come in from clubs.'”
Wait and see
It seems almost inevitable that Benrhama will depart the London Stadium before the end of the January window, but it would be naive of West Ham supporters to assume that such a deal is anywhere near close as the Irons are yet to receive any genuine interest.
The Algerian international has been in terrible form so far this season, failing to find the net once and only picking up two assists in 21 appearances in all competitions. Since the arrival of Mohammed Kudus in the summer he has become a bit part player.

Should the right fee be offered for the 28-year-old’s services, it would make complete sense for the Hammers to allow him to depart this month, but the Irons don’t need to sell him immediately and therefore can play a bit of a waiting game.
This deal is certainly one to watch over the coming months, but West Ham fans could see Benrahma in claret and blue for a while longer yet as it doesn’t seem like his permanent exit is imminent.
