West Ham share good relationship with agents of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic
West Ham reportedly share a good understanding with the representatives of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano who claims that the Hammers could re-enter the race to sign him this summer.
However, the 24-year-old has not told his club whether he wants an exit at the end of the season.
Romano told Hammers Chat, “Relationship is good with the player and his agent.
“At the moment, what I’m told is that he’s not 100 per cent sure he will leave Fiorentina.”
Worth rekindling?
Milenkovic appeared to be the primary defensive target for the Hammers last summer.
Everything seemed to be in place barring the transfer fee and David Moyes then decided to pull the plug on the deal.
He wanted someone with Premier League experience and brought in Kurt Zouma from Chelsea.

The Frenchman has enjoyed a good start to life at West Ham but needs a capable partner playing next to him.
In Milenkovic, he would get just that and this is a transfer that the Hammers must consider making.
The Serbia international is imperious in the air and is a no-nonsense defender who would form a seamless understanding with Zouma and the two would be the club’s long-term centre-back pairing.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have scouted a £20m-rated ‘Dangerous’ British striker and want to seal a permanent move this summer.
