West Ham set to announce contract extension of Dan Chesters
West Ham are planning to announce the contract extension of highly-rated young midfielder, Dan Chesters, according to reports from ExWHUemployee.
The central midfielder is likely to pen a two-year deal that will keep him at the club till 2024.
The 21-year-old has already made one senior appearance for the Hammers this season, having featured in the Europa League.

Building future
West Ham have always shown great commitment towards promoting young talents from the club.
Declan Rice is an ideal role model for these young talents. He has emerged from the club academy and he is now a regular in the England national team.
Chesters has made 15 appearances in the Premier League Two 2 this season where he managed one goal and three assists.
He has also featured in three EFL Trophy games, bagging two assists.
The Hammers are looking to reward his progress, and rightly so.

The current bunch at the academy are blessed with talents, with players like Ajibola Alese, Jamal Baptiste, Sonny Perkins, Harrison Ashby and Emmanuel Longelo have all impressed this season at academy ranks.
Considering that West Ham are aiming for the top-four spot, it’s not always easy to throw the youngsters into the mix, but the club are trying their best to grow more players from within the system.
Chesters impressed during a recent U23 match against Leeds, forcing some good saves from the Whites young goalie Kristoffer Klaesson.
In other West Ham news, the Irons have tabled a bid to sign this £16.8million-rated defender.
