West Ham set for new transfer strategy with Rob Newman
Rob Newman insists that he and David Moyes will work very closely in the transfer market to sign new players for West Ham.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the former Manchester City employee outlined his plan for the Hammers in a detailed interview.
It seems as if both he and Moyes will work together to sign the players that the Scotsman wants and to provide the Irons with as many good players as possible.

He said when asked about how closely he would work with Moyes: “Very closely, because obviously, we can find all of these players, but ultimately, it’s down to the manager to really tick off the box.
“What is important, from a recruitment point of view, is that we give him as many options as possible. We find out what type of players he likes in each position, and we scour the world to find those players to put in front of him.
“Then, we’ll do our due diligence, firstly by the department, and then obviously bring the manager and staff in as we progress further down the line.
“Hopefully, we’ll come to a list of players who are good enough to come in and better the squad.”
A positive message from Newman.
Now, this might just seem to be how a normal football club should operate, but David Sullivan has had a direct say in transfers for many years [Evening Standard].
It appears as if with Newman’s arrival, that isn’t the case anymore, and the Irons should now start to operate as a professional Premier League football club.
The combination of Newman and Moyes could be very exciting, and we are encouraged by this interview.
He speaks very well and clearly sets out what his role is and how he intends to help his new club.

The Irons have made some spectacularly bad signings in the past, but over the last year or so, things seem to be getting much better, and hopefully, Newman’s arrival just helps improve that further.
It is an exciting time to support the Irons, and Newman should be a brilliant addition to Moyes’ recruitment staff.
