West Ham relegation prediction made by Super Computer ahead of Newcastle clash
West Ham United are predicted to still comfortably avoid relegation this season, according to the updated Opta Super Computer standings.
The Hammers take on Newcastle United on Monday night (25 November) as they look to extend the gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
Going into the match, Lopetegui’s side sit 14th in the league with 12 points. They are tipped to finish in their current position on 45 points, which would leave them 13 clear of going down.
West Ham can save their season if Julen Lopetegui is sacked now
It has been a frustrating season for Hammers fans so far and it’s clear that their managerial appointment hasn’t worked out the way that the club or boss would have hoped for.
However, despite rumours surrounding his future, it is taking David Sullivan quite some time to take the plunge and change things up at the London Stadium.
Tonight’s game at Newcastle United could well be the game that changes it if they don’t get three points, but however long it takes, you certainly don’t feel confident that the 58-year-old will survive much longer.

If that is the case, then the East London side could still have a decent season and find themselves safe at the end of the season instead of being pulled into a relegation battle.
However, the longer they leave it, the more danger it could put them in at the end of the season. One thing that is for sure, though, is that it is too late for them to do anything too remarkable now.
In other West Ham news, Julen Lopetegui has put Niclas Fullkrug’s future in doubt as he eyes a move for an international striker.
