West Ham receive Jarrod Bowen injury boost after 1-0 loss v Liverpool
West Ham star Jarrod Bowen has got away without significant injury after hobbling off during the Irons’ 1-0 defeat to Liverpool yesterday.
The 25-year-old was helped off the pitch by the club’s physios early into the second half and supporters had been fearing the worst.
The club have released a statement however saying that the Englishman will continue to be monitored as a precaution but the news seems good.

West Ham Head of Medical Richard Collinge said: “Jarrod underwent an MRI scan in London on Sunday morning and thankfully no significant injury has occurred. He will continue to be monitored by the medical team and will undergo further examination in the coming days.”
Vital
Bowen has been one of the Premier League’s best players this season let alone of those wearing the claret and blue of West Ham.
Sixteen goal contributions have helped the Irons to another top-four challenge and losing him would be massively detrimental to their campaign.
Whether he is risked against Sevilla in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie is as yet unknown and maybe it would be best to give him those extra few days to get over any aches and pains he has.

With it being a two-legged affair, David Moyes should be able to afford to rest a couple of his players knowing that they only need to be close after the first game to take the game to the Spaniards at the London Stadium.
It would take someone with big cojones to drop such an in-form player but for the good of his recovery from this, it might become necessary.
