West Ham starting XI vs Celtic

Lukasz Fabianski will start in goal for West Ham against Celtic as David Moyes has named a strong side for the pre-season friendly.

Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna start as the two centre-backs with Ryan Fredericks and Aaron Creswell playing in the full-back positions.

Mark Noble, who captains the side, will anchor the midfield and Pablo Fornals is expected to play a more advanced role with Conor Coventry dropping to the bench.

Amazing side

Our attacking quartet of Manuel Lanzini, Said Benrahma, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio is enough to send shivers down the spines of Celtic.

We expect to see a team like this in the Premier League and not in pre-season, so we should be in for a performance that sees us create plenty of goal-scoring opportunities.

We will be without five first-team players for this game as Winston Reid is in Tokyo for Olympic Games with New Zealand, while Declan Rice, Vladimir Coufal, Tomas Soucek and Andriy Yarmolenko are on extended leaves due to their international commitments at Euro 2020.

Form is certainly on our side as we go into this one on the back of an impressive performance against Reading on Wednesday.

West Ham

We completely played them off the park and won that one by a comfortable 3-0 scoreline.

Coventry has been impressive thus far in pre-season and he should come on for the second half. He’s rarely put a foot wrong in the last few games and Moyes would certainly want to see more from him.

Benrahma also will have a point to prove as he’s fighting for a regular place in the playing XI. Thus far, he’s done fairly well, but the real test will be in today’s game at Celtic Park and we’re backing him to succeed.
