West Ham not expecting busy week for transfers – ExWHUemployee

West Ham United are yet to pull the trigger on any significant pieces of business in this transfer window.

Despite a huge 6-2 win over Celtic at the weekend, there is still a big feeling in the fan base that numerous signings are needed.

In true Hammers fashion, numerous names continue to be linked but there has been no fire to the smoke as of yet.

ExWHUemployee continues to be quizzed on the Irons’ transfer activity this week and ended the week with an update on Twitter.

When asked if we can expect a big week of action on the transfer front at the London Stadium, his response was far from convincing.

“Not at this point,” he wrote.

“But I hope things will start to move soon (they need to).”

Really?

When are we going to start learning our lesson?

Numerous Premier League clubs have already started their business and made one, and some even more reinforcements.

There isn’t even a sign of a bid, an accepted offer or any progress from the Irons with the Premier League season nearly only two weeks away.

David Moyes won’t be happy if he is forced to enter yet another season with the injury-prone Michail Antonio as his only senior striker.

We desperately need squad depth, now more than ever with the Europa League added to our schedule, but there is no sign of that.

GSB need to shoot into action and quickly, these signings aren’t going to make themselves and we pray that this can change very quickly, the transfer market can be very unpredictable.
