West Ham are aiming to strengthen their squad this summer transfer window as Graham Potter eyes multiple targets.

The Hammers are currently significantly weaker than at the end of the 2024/25 campaign, with the London club already enduring multiple departures.

Mohammed Kudus’ move to Tottenham was recently confirmed, with Potter losing yet another star player.

Therefore, signings are now a must, with multiple players linked to the London Stadium.

As a result, West Ham Zone has provided a round-up of all the latest news at the London club from the past 24 hours.

West Ham eye move for Palhinha from Bayern Munich

Joao Palhinha was once one of the best midfielders in the Premier League before his move to Bayern Munich.

However, his time in Germany has not gone to plan, and now the former Fulham star is linked with a move back to the English top-flight.

West Ham are said to be keen on the midfielder, who only moved to Bayern last summer.

The Portuguese international could be worth as little as £26 million, with Manchester United and Tottenham also interested.

Niclas Fullkrug reacts as Aaron Cresswell announces new club

Aaron Cresswell left West Ham this summer after over a decade at the London club, where he played 369 times.

Despite being 35 years old, interest was high for the former England international, with multiple clubs eyeing his signature.

However, it was Stoke City who won the race, as the left-back signed a one-year contract with the West Midlands side.

With Cresswell announcing the deal on his Instagram, Fullkrug was quick to react to the news by liking the post.

West Ham reach agreement to sign El Hadji Malick Diouf

West Ham have been pursuing the left-sided defender for much of the transfer window.

West Ham to consider Tomiyasu signing

Another defender who could join West Ham this summer is Takehiro Tomiyasu.

The Japanese international was at Arsenal but has now departed the Gunners this summer.

With the 26-year-old now a free agent, former Brentford and Leicester City boss Martin Allen has backed the Hammers to make a move for Tomiyasu.

He told West Ham Zone: “He’s quick, strong and looks like he’s got a great attitude.

“Again, his injury record is a problem. Last season, one of West Ham’s best players was Wan-Bissaka, so he probably wouldn’t come in as a right-back.

“I’ve seen him play as a left-back and as a centre-back at times for Arsenal, he’s very versatile.

“He’s got experience, and that’s something that has been missing, so he may be a consideration.”
