West Ham move for Kurt Zouma backed by all parties
West Ham appear to be on the right track to complete Kurt Zouma’s signing from Chelsea as all parties want the deal to go ahead, claims Duncan Wright.
The Sun journalist has stated that the agents have complicated the move, but there remains interest from everyone to go ahead with the transfer.
His report came after Telefoot’s Julien Maynard reported that the Hammers pursuit for the 26-year-old went off the rails and it seemed like they ended negotiations with Chelsea.
Via his personal Twitter account, Wright wrote, “Zouma deal to West Ham certainly not off. Late shenanigans with agents have complicated things, but told all parties want deal to happen.”
Get this done
There appears to be an air of positivity coming from West Ham with regards to their pursuit for the France international.
He is understood to be keen on making the move and Chelsea also want the deal to go ahead as they’re themselves looking to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla.
Sky Sports Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano also stated last night that the Kounde move was stalling and Chelsea were waiting to agree on a deal with the Hammers for Zouma.

There appears a good chance of both signings going ahead which would be beneficial for the two London rivals.
Hammers, who have been looking to sign a defender all summer, will finally get one, while Chelsea will manage to get Zouma off their books to sign his compatriot Kounde, who’s seen as one of the best young centre-backs of this generation.
The next couple of days are key and we’re waiting to see how this unfolds.
