West Ham may have received boost to sign Aaron Ramsey

West Ham may have received a big boost to sign Aaron Ramsey from Juventus this month.

Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that the Welshman is currently not training with the team as he is eyeing a move this month.

Fabrizio Romano has added on his Twitter post that talks are ongoing for his return to the Premier League.

West Ham are one of the clubs reportedly interested in signing Ramsey.

Eurosport reported last month that the Hammers were trying to come up with a package deal to land him.

As it stands, it looks like it is only a matter of time before he makes a return to the Premier League, and it remains to be seen if West Ham pounce on the opportunity.

Ramsey is not the solution for the Hammers at the moment. West Ham need a striker and possibly a centre-back.

However, the former Arsenal midfielder is a top-quality player whose rich experience would be of massive help as the Hammers eye a top-four finish this season.

He can provide that extra bit of quality in midfield, while he would be available on a bargain deal given his contract situation.

With Mark Noble set to retire at the end of the season for the Hammers and Alex Kral yet to cement his position in the side, the need for an experienced midfielder is evident. Ramsey can fill that slot.

Once hailed as “special” by none other than Arsene Wenger, there’s a window of opportunity now to bring him back to London once again.
