West Ham may give David Moyes as much as £150million in summer – Claret & Hugh

West Ham manager David Moyes could be afforded as much as £150million to spend in the summer according to Claret & Hugh.

The Scot is waiting for the verdict of a board meeting to determine how much funds will be made readily available to strengthen the squad ahead of next season.

The Irons chiefs have to consider how much revenue they will gain from TV deals, ticket sales, matchday income and as well as their ability to borrow funds before freeing up Moyes’ kitty.

The 58-year-old is plotting a big move Benfica’s Darwin Nunez after a reported failed last-gasp move in January.

Promising

This is exactly the news West Ham fans want to hear. The board look to have learnt from their failures of the last several windows having left it far too late to get themselves organised.

This time around it seems as if the Hammers are identifying their targets and planning to get their financials in order ahead of what should be a huge summer transfer window.

If they could prize Nunez away from the host of European clubs that are interested in the scintillating Benfica man it would be a very successful window.

The biggest flaw with the squad this season has been a lack of support for Michail Antonio and the Uruguayan would certainly offer that.

He has been one of the best strikers in the world this season with 29 goal involvements in all competitions for the Portuguese outfit whilst setting the Champions League on fire.

The rest of the money should be spent on a centre-back and if the Irons manage to keep hold of all the star men currently in the squad, they would be scarily good next season.
