West Ham man Nikola Vlasic ripped apart by new report from Croatia

Nikola Vlasic’s time at West Ham has been torn apart by a new report from Index HR in Croatia.

They have analysed the 24-year-old’s early Hammers career and concluded that he is facing a “big problem”, while the Croatian national team boss Zlatko Dalic, might have to drop him soon.

This is a brutal review of Vlasic’s time at the London Stadium so far, and it certainly seems overly harsh on a player trying to readjust to the Premier League.

What will happen to Vlasic?

The 24-year-old has had a slow start to life in east London, but we certainly don’t think it is anything to worry about.

Of the Irons’ last six Premier League games, Vlasic has played in three of them and appeared for 107 minutes.

Now, this isn’t great, but David Moyes does have a lot of options to choose from, and they are in better form at the moment.

Vlasic has had much more of an opportunity in the Europa League, and he has played in all three of the Irons’ games and appeared for 214 minutes, which is good.

Now, he hasn’t scored or provided an assist yet for the Hammers, but it is very early days, and we would expect him to get better.

Therefore, this report seems like a huge overreaction, and they should have more faith in a talented player who will get more chances to impress and grow as the season progresses.
