West Ham man Jarrod Bowen discusses Michail Antonio
Jarrod Bowen has been thrilled by Michail Antonio’s transformation from a right-back into a striker at West Ham.
Speaking to the BBC, the winger went into great detail on the 31-year-old and heaped loads of praise onto his teammate.
The former Sheffield Wednesday man joined the Irons from Nottingham Forest and has played as a winger, a right-back and even at left-back, and fortunately as a striker, where he has thrived [transfermarkt].
Bowen said: “Yeah, Mic is just unbelievable.
“He’s come in now, and it looks like he’s been playing upfront all his career because of the goals that he’s scored, how important he is for the team.
“The way he works, the way he applies himself, he’s a real credit to himself, and it is a joy to play with him.”
High praise from Bowen.
Since Bowen arrived at the London Stadium, he has played 47 times with Antonio in which they’ve combined for two goals, which shows that they might have a better understanding off the pitch than on.
It is also clear from this interview that the 24-year-old is a big fan of Antonio both off and on the pitch.
We can imagine that he is a big inspiration to his teammates and to many players around the country.

He is the perfect example of how far hard work can take you in your career, and he has grown into a prime Premier League striker now, which is not something I can imagine that many people would have thought when he first joined.
Obviously, he is now 31, and the Irons might have to find a way to start managing his fitness a bit more, but as long as he stays fit, he will score goals.
