West Ham man Angelo Ogbonna has praised Michail Antonio
West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna has heaped praise on Michail Antonio after he scored the winner against Leeds United on Saturday.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the 33-year-old described the striker as “unbelievable” after he cooly converted a 90th-minute winner for the Irons.
Declan Rice played the ball forward, and the striker flicked the ball past Jamie Shackleton before placing it into the bottom corner to spark wild scenes in the away end.

Ogbonna said: “It’s another goal for Michail Antonio, and he just likes to score.
“The job that he did today for us was unbelievable.”
Antonio keeps delivering.
David Moyes revealed after the game that he wasn’t even that happy with how Antonio played, but he was delighted to see him get on the scoresheet [Football.London].
It had looked like it maybe wasn’t going to be the Jamaican striker’s day as he found himself denied by Illan Meslier, but he showed great composure to win the game for his side.
This was an impressive second-half display from the Irons, and it moves them up to 7th place, and they look to be building on what they achieved last season.

If Antonio keeps scoring goals, then there is no telling how high the Hammers can go, and it is clear from Ogbonna’s comments that he is a player that his teammates love.
It must be so good as a defender knowing that you have someone upfront in such lethal goalscoring form, and it must take quite a bit of pressure off Ogbonna and the rest of the defence.
