West Ham make breakthrough in negotiations for Kurt Zouma
West Ham have made a major breakthrough in their pursuit of Kurt Zouma, according to TalkSPORT insider Alex Crook.
Crook revealed on his Twitter account that the Hammers are now “very close” to adding Zouma to their side after they made a “breakthrough” on personal terms.
He also added that the Hammers still plan to be active in the transfer market from now until next Tuesday. So the spending is not over yet by the looks of things.
Huge news.
It appears as if finally David Moyes is closing in on the centre-back that he desires, and it could just be a matter of time before Zouma is added to his squad.
After the Hammers agreed a fee with Chelsea for the 26-year-old, personal terms were seen as the main issue, and that hurdle appears to be cleared [The Athletic].

This will be a huge boost for West Ham, who have a Europa League campaign to take part in and could do with some more players in their squad.
Zouma has a vast amount of Premier League experience and is still relatively young for a centre-back.
So, it will be a great deal for the Irons to complete, and hopefully, it is just a matter of time before the Hammers announce Zouma officially.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are planning one final move for Jesse Lingard.
