West Ham-linked Gaetan Laborde unlikely to leave this summer
West Ham-linked Montpellier forward Gaetan Laborde is unlikely to leave the Ligue 1 side this summer, according to The Daily Express.
This is down to the fact that his striker partner Andy Delort is likely to part ways and join Nice, making it unlikely that they sell their top two attackers in the same window.
The 27-year-old has been on West Ham’s radar since January and they were even set to table a bid for him, according to a report in French media outlet Le 10 Sport.

Fuming
The Frenchman would’ve been a perfect fit in our system and would hit the ground running should we have signed him.
It’s not totally confirmed that we’re out of the race, but should Delort leave, then it all but rules out our chances of getting our hands on him this summer.
He has been a player tracked by the club for months so they know what they were in for.
It’s a shame that we waited so long in the window to register a genuine interest in him.

Since the outset we should’ve prioritised signing him as Tammy Abraham was always going to be a long shot.
With only days left to go before the window shuts, we’re still unsure as to who will walk through the door.
Signing a striker has been our priority since Sebastien Haller left so it’s a shame we’ve not done it so far.
