West Ham in advanced negotiations for Abdallah Sima

West Ham could be closing in on the signing of Sparta Prague attacker Abdallah Sima, according to a report from West Ham Fans.org.

The Hammers website, that features on NewsNow, claims that they have been told by a “genuine source” that the clubs is in advanced negotiations with the Europa League side over the signing of the 20-year-old.

The Hammers have been linked with a move for Sima in the past, but it now appears as if they are closing in on a deal for David Moyes’ second choice forward [the Evening Standard].

Sparta Prague raid continues!

The Hammers have already recruited Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal from the Czech side, and both have been a great success.

So, if the Irons are close to signing Sima and he turns out to be anywhere near as good as those two, then the Hammers would have done well.

Sima can play as a striker or as a winger, and last season, he scored 20 goals in all competitions, which would have made him the Irons’ top goalscorer by some distance.

West Ham are unlikely to sign Tammy Abraham this summer, and if they could bring Sima in, that could be just the boost they need for this season [Claret & Hugh].

We will now have to see what happens, but this report sounds positive, and we hope that the Hammers do complete the signing of Sima before the end of the transfer window.
