West Ham have submitted a ‘firm offer’ for Martin Braithwaite

West Ham have submitted a “firm offer” for Barcelona man Martin Braithwaite, but the player is undecided on the move, according to Sport.

They claim that the Danish international would rather join Tottenham Hotspur; however, that move would be dependent on Harry Kane, and Spurs see the 30-year-old as an option should they sell the 27-year-old.

Therefore, the Hammers must wait and see what happens because Braithwaite has asked for more time to wait and see if Spurs sell Kane.

Will West Ham sign Braithwaite?

It seems as if the Irons have an agreement with Barcelona, but the player isn’t too keen on the move just yet.

Braithwaite made six appearances as Denmark got to the semi-finals of the Euros and scored one goal.

He is experienced and can play in a variety of positions, including upfront as a striker, so you can see why West Ham might want to sign him.

However, if the player is going to make them wait, they should move on as they are running out of time to sign a striker before the close of the transfer window.

Braithwaite could be a decent signing for the Hammers, but if he would rather play for Tottenham, who aren’t in the Europa League or Champions League, then they should look at other targets because he clearly isn’t that keen on moving to the London Stadium.
