West Ham have lodged a new proposal for Lingard as Rangnick gives blessing for loan
West Ham have lodged a new proposal for Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard, according to The Athletic.
The proposal consists of better terms to those on which they took the 29-year-old on loan for the second half of last season.
Red Devils interim manager Ralf Rangnick has now given Lingard his blessing to leave on loan before the transfer window closes tonight, with the situation now firmly in the hands of the Old Trafford hierarchy.

While Man Utd have so far refused to sanction his move to West Ham, pressure is now mounting on them ahead of tonight’s 11 pm deadline with Rangnick supporting Lingard’s desire and suitors pushing hard to take him.
Chance?
The Hammers clearly still want him back and have gone in with better terms, but whether Man Utd remain keen on strengthening a top-four rival remains to be seen.
The player had initially planned to remain at Old Trafford beyond this month, but a lack of game time has forced his hands.
It is now up to his club to determine whether to keep an unhappy squad member or find an agreement to let him a go, and West Ham will most likely be knocking on their door in the coming hours.

They are not the only ones keen on Lingard, though, with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United also interested, but returning to the London Stadium after his success last time out could be more appealing.
West Ham have been looking to get a deal done for Benfica’s Darwin Nunez in recent days, but with that deal proving herculean, could they switch attention towards Lingard instead?
