West Ham & GSB won’t pay Tammy Abraham £100k/wk wages – ExWHUemployee

West Ham United won’t pay the wages of number one transfer target and Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham this summer.

ExWHUemployee has shared a further insight, claiming the England international wants up to £110,000-per-week.

Slamming the ambition of the board, Ex insisted that the Irons are unlikely to push a move through despite David Moyes rating the forward immensely.

Speaking on the West Ham Way Podcast on Patreon, Ex shared his disappointment over the lack of ambition.

“Tammy Abraham, I’ve spoken about him being the number one target,” he said.

“David Moyes really, really rates him. There’s a number of issues – firstly, the club doesn’t value him the same as what Chelsea do, the club reckons it’s going to be £40million.

“I’ve heard it’s more like £30/£35million. They’re also saying his wage demands are too high – he’s on about £80,000-a-week now, from what I know, he’s looking to be more in line with £100,000-£110,000.”

West Ham

Got to be kidding.

This is not much money to pay for a proven Premier League forward who could really take us to the next level.

Michail Antonio is clearly the main man, but he has serious fitness issues, and is coming to the end of his career.

Abraham has achieved more already, has the killer instinct, and could nail down a spot in this side for many years to come.

Good Premier League players cost that much, and numerous clubs above and around us pay that money – just look at Aston Villa.

If you want to consistently reach Europe, you need to spend money to improve your squad, and if not, we will get left behind.

Moyes will know that, and that is why he is targeting big names such as Abraham, but once again, he looks set to be let down by those above him.
