West Ham fans ‘should be worrying’ says BBC pundit after loss v Man Utd
West Ham United were narrowly beaten by a star-studded Manchester United on Saturday [22 January] which saw the Hammers drop below their opponents.
Marcus Rashford’s stoppage-time goal was a kick in the teeth for David Moyes and the travelling support as the Irons pushed on to try and win the game.
They are now outside the top four and on the BBC’s Football Daily podcast, pundit Nubaid Haroon could see a glaring issue that plagued them at Old Trafford.

“I think they should be worrying a little bit,” Haroon said, “Spurs have got three games in hand, Arsenal have got two games in hand, you’ve now got United who have gone above you in the table.
“Although I am critical of Moyes and how West Ham played, I felt as though they had run out of juice in the tank.
“Antonio looked really fatigued and that has always been a problem for West Ham that they only really have one striker and when he doesn’t play, they don’t look nearly as good.”
It needs addressing
Haroon brings up a problem that you would assume Moyes already knows and wants to address.

Poor Michail Antonio is being run into the ground at the London Stadium because he has no other striking partners who can do the job he does for the team.
If he is already looking like he needs a long rest, imagine what he will look like come the end of the season, if he makes it without copping an injury due to the huge workload.
Jarrod Bowen could theoretically do the job if required but his form on the Hammers’ right-hand side has been a major reason for their top-four challenge and Moyes will want to keep him out there at all costs.
West Ham are making moves to try and rectify this issue in the January transfer market but they are yet to complete a deal and with just over one week to go until the deadline, things could start to get desperate.
In other West Ham news, this talkSPORT pundit is wowed by the rumours linking this striker to the London stadium.
