Giant strides

It’s been an incredible rise for the Hammers under David Moyes.

Only two years ago, the Hammers were teetering on the verge of relegation, and the club was moving aimlessly, without any foundation and philosophy.

Moyes has not only arrested the decline but he has taken the club to a new height. The Hammers narrowly missed out on the top four last season.

This season, they are still in the race for a European spot, and have won moved into the semi-finals of the Europa League.

Moyes deserves to be backed in the summer market. He should be given a healthy transfer kitty to bring in players of his choice.

The biggest challenge for Moyes in the summer window will be to keep hold of his key players like Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen.

Obviously, things will change dramatically if the Hammers can go on and lift the trophy this season which will definitely be a watershed moment in the club’s history.
