West Ham fans clashed with stewards after 1-1 v Newcastle
West Ham fans reportedly clashed with the stewards in the London Stadium after the Hammers earned a draw in the Premier League.
The Hammers earned a 1-1 draw against Newcastle on Saturday [19 February] and the performance was nowhere near any accepted levels
According to Football London journalist, Tom Clark, bottles were thrown as the Newcastle fans goad them.

Clark wrote on Twitter: “Bottles being thrown and West Ham fans clashing with the stewards as the Newcastle fans goad them”
The Athletic journalist, Roshane Thomas added that the home side jeered the team with loud boos at the end of the game.
Frustration
It was a pretty ordinary performance from the Hammers, and the fans have every right to get angry about it.
The players look fatigued, with some of them misplacing normal passes.
Key players in the squad have struggled for form. Michail Antonio has now failed to score in his last seven games in all competitions.
In midfield, Tomas Soucek has given the impression of the shadow of a player he was last season.

While there are talks about a potential new deal for him, based on his recent performances, the club should think twice about it.
Likewise, Pablo Fornals has been underperforming for a while now. Said Benrahma has contributed nothing in this game, and it shows the lack of depth in the squad.
The Hammers showed a lot of promise at the start of the season, but they are failing to maintain high standards.
Every point dropped, and especially at home, will add to their frustration as top-four hopes slipes away.
