West Ham eye move for Chelsea defender Malang Sarr
West Ham are one of the clubs interested in signing Chelsea defender Malang Sarr, according to reports from Foot Mercato.
The 22-year-old Chelsea defender has a contract at the club till 2025.
Chelsea are not particularly keen on selling him, but a loan move away could be on the cards. However, it will require a lot of convincing.

Signing a centre-back
Sarr joined the Blues in 2020 from Nice and has made nine appearances to date for the club.
He has spent loan spells at Porto but hasn’t played much for the Blues.
West Ham need to sign a centre-back this month, despite the fact that Kurt Zouma is about to return after a long injury lay-off.
The French defender will add the much needed depth in defence but David Moyes must bolster that area as they are chasing a top-four finish.
Sarr has got an “excellent” first touch and he is brilliant with his passing and distribution. He is a typical ball-playing defender who is very accurate with his long passing.

However, Moyes probably would want someone who has got enough Premier League experience and who can make an instant impact.
Sarr would come on a loan deal which will be financially profitable for the Hammers, but surely they must look for long-term benefits.
