West Ham duo Issa Diop and Andriy Yarmolenko set for summer exit

West Ham are likely to offload both Issa Diop and Andriy Yarmolenko in the summer transfer window, according to The Guadian.

The summer transfer window is going to be massive for the Hammers following their encouraging performance in Europa League this season where they reached the semi-finals.

With more quality additions to the side, the Hammers can break into the top four next season.

Moyes must need to free up space to add new faces. Bolstering the defence is a priority.

Diop has failed to cement his position on the side, while his form has been far from being consistent.

When both Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna got injured, Diop had a great chance to prove a point to his manager, but he was below par in some of the games.

Moyes is considering making a move for Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall as a potential replacement for Diop.

James Tarkowski is another player who was under the radar, but he will be hounded by a host of clubs after the expiry of his contract with Burnley at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has made 39 appearances in the Championship, and he has been a stand-out performer.

Moyes has previously signed players from Championship, and he is likely to repeat a similar transfer strategy with Worrall in the summer.

Another player who is almost certain to leave in Yarmolenko.

The 32-year-old has a contract at the club till the end of the season, and the Hammers are not keen to offer him a new deal.

Moyes wants a left-winger and has looked at Hull’s Keane Lewis-Potter. Once again, he is aiming to bring quality talented players from the lower league after intense scouting.

It seems a smart strategy considering how the Hammers have benefitted from the signings of Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers keen to sign highly-rated defender with £44m release clause.
