West Ham defender Ryan Fredericks set to be transfer listed
West Ham are set to put defender Ryan Fredericks on the transfer list, according to Claret and Hugh.
In recent weeks, Fredericks has seen himself fall to third in the pecking order for right-backs at the club, given Ben Johnson’s rise.
The young Englishman has stepped up in Vladimir Coufal’s absence and now appears to have made Fredericks’ position at the club untenable.
Due to his contract expiring at the end of the season, West Ham will be looking to cash in on him in January.
Time to leave
Fredericks is closing in on 30 and the time has arrived for him to part ways with the Hammers.

He’s been decent whenever called upon, but his fitness has proven to be a major concern.
David Moyes had to turn to his third-choice right-back when Coufal was injured, which is a shame, given how Fredericks barely has been playing.
He was handed a start against Manchester United in the EFL Cup, but could not even last for 20 minutes and had to be withdrawn.
However, he played an assist that was labelled as “magnificent” [Claret and Hugh] to Manuel Lanzini.
That happened to be the match-winner and it probably could be his last telling moment in a West Ham jersey as it seems like once the window opens, plans to sell him will start being put into place.
