West Ham could sign Oleksandr Zinchenko after Pep Guardiola decision
West Ham United may be ready to go back in for Manchester City defender Oleksandr Zinchenko after a new update emerged today, according to Claret and Hugh.
The Irons insiders report that the cub had made “discreet enquiries” about the Ukrainian international last summer but no move was made.
They now claim that sources close to Manchester City have told them that Citizens manager Pep Guardiola has decided to look for a new left-back, putting the 25-year-old’s future at the Etihad Stadium under threat.

Hammers boss David Moyes is supposedly a “huge admirer” of Zinchenko and a transfer in the summer wouldn’t come as a surprise.
Versatile
He may be playing as a left-back primarily for the Premier League champions but he may well slot in elsewhere if he were to join the Hammers next season.
He often operates as a central midfielder for his national side and can also play as a winger on either side should he be needed to do so.

With Mark Noble retiring and Alex Kral’s future at the London Stadium looking non-existent, maybe Zinchenko would come to the club to be a central midfield option who can also fill in elsewhere when duty calls.
Moyes won’t want to replace the consistent Aaron Cresswell at left-back unless a big injury or drop in form befalls the Englishman.
His delivery is something that he can’t afford to lose but to have a replacement like Zinchenko would allow him to breathe a big sigh of relief if it ever came to fruition.
In other West Ham news, Jim White has tipped Irons boss Moyes for a different Premier League job in a surprising claim on talkSPORT.
