West Ham could hand Michail Antonio new deal after international decision
West Ham could be in line to hand Michail Antonio a contract extension as he appears to have taken a backseat from his international career, per Claret and Hugh.
The Jamaica international pulled out from the national squad this international a break and the move was applauded by David Gold.
This decision has put him in line for a new deal which could be put in front of him at the end of the season should he continue to prove his form and fitness.

Get in.
Antonio’s been one of the club’s unsung heroes in the past and it’s nice to see him finally getting the adulation he deserves.
He’s been someone who’s played in multiple positions and has followed the manager’s instructions, no questions asked.
Would it not have been for his woeful injury record, he could have been regarded as one of the best players in the Premier League.
If this season’s form is to be taken, then he is leaps and bounds ahead of all attackers bar Mohamed Salah.

He’s shown that he is capable enough to step up despite the Hammers not signing a new striker this summer.
While David Moyes would eventually want a striker, he would be thrilled by what Antonio has offered to his side over the last few months.
We’re hoping that he gets the new deal he deserves as he’s been absolutely fantastic and is already admired a great deal by the London Stadium faithful.
