West Ham confirmed XI v Crystal Palace: Johnson starts

David Moyes has named his West Ham starting eleven for the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace today (January 1).

The Hammers are on the back of an impressive 4-1 victory against Watford and will be looking to continue their good run against Palace.

Michail Antonio will be looking to be among the goals once again as he’s named in the starting eleven.

Mark Noble has been dropped to the bench and Declan Rice will come in place of him.

Top four time

With Arsenal losing to Manchester City, West Ham could go within a point of them should they win here.

Tottenham will still have two more games in hand, but Moyes would like to be within touching distance of the top four halfway through the season.

The Hammers have been extremely unlucky with injuries but have still managed to compete with the big boys in the division.

Losing to sides like Southampton is unacceptable even with the absentees and Palace will pose a similar threat.

It is imperative that the Irons begin this one on the front foot and take the game to Patrick Vieira’s side.

Moyes will have his players charged and ready to go for this one and it’s bound to be a good game.
