West Ham ‘confident’ Jarrod Bowen will play v Sevilla – talkSPORT
West Ham are ‘confident’ that Jarrod Bowen will be able to return from his foot injury to take on Sevilla in the Europa League on Thursday, according to talkSPORT.
The winger suffered an injury against Liverpool last weekend and subsequently missed the 1-0 defeat to Sevilla in the first leg of their tie, as well as the 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.
But with Michail Antonio limping off injured against Villa and now being a doubt, talkSPORT reporter Sam Ellard claimed the Hammers expect the 25-year-old to be available.

“Bowen didn’t play yesterday, but West Ham are confident that he’s going to be back Thursday. He missed the first leg as well,” he said.
Bowen has been in sensational form this season for the Hammers, scoring 12 goals and registering nine assists in all competitions to lead the way in both stats for the club.
Massive lift
The absence of Bowen has been a huge blow in recent games for David Moyes, with the team suffering from a lack of killer instinct in attack as they missed a hatful of chances.
With Antonio suffering what looked like a hamstring injury against Villa, they looked to be very short of options in attack ahead of the Europa League second leg clash at the London Stadium.

However, news that the club are now ‘confident’ that the 25-year-old will be able to return is a massive lift for the team but also for the fans.
Sevilla will be wary of the fact he has been the best player in claret and blue this season and his return will open up a whole new avenue of problems for the La Liga outfit in their clash.
It would be a surprise if he were to return however considering the severity and unsureness that surrounded his injury just last week, but a huge lift all the same.
