West Ham attacker Michail Antonio not injured for Everton clash

West Ham attacker Michail Antonio is available and ready to start the game against Everton on Sunday, claim Claret and Hugh.

According to the report, there was speculation that the Jamaica international may be one of the injuries David Moyes was speaking about in his press conferences, but those rumours appear to have been squashed.

C&H wrote, “Mickey hasn’t been on international duty and was perfectly fine yesterday and we’ve heard nothing to the contrary today. So he will be in the squad which goes to Everton and as far as I, or anybody else is concerned, is currently a certainty to start.”

Fantastic news

West Ham fans know just how annoying it is to have someone like Antonio ruled out due to injury.

One of the primary reasons why the Hammers were keen on signing a striker in the summer, was the Jamaican’s woeful injury record.

Fans could be forgiven for thinking that Antonio was ruled out again, but thankfully, club insiders have ruled him to be fit.

Without him, the side’s chances of winning go down as he brings something else and guarantees coming close to finding the back of the net every time he steps on the field of play.

Speaking on Match of the Day, Alan Shearer also took a moment to wax his lyrical.

“What a brilliant centre-forward Michail Antonio is,” he said.

We’re hoping that he bags a couple against the Toffees as this game is almost like a six-pointer, given how they are also keen on finishing in the top six.
