West Ham appoint four new people to the board

West Ham have confirmed four new people have been appointed to the board after Daniel Kretinsky completed his investment in the club.

Claret and Hugh claim that Pavel Horsky, Kretinsky, David Sullivan Jr, and Dan Cunningham have all permanently joined the board in an update on Companies House revealed today.

This shows in black and white that things will probably never be the same again at the London Stadium, which is exciting.

The changes are rather intriguing, and you would have to say there are two names on there, which you probably wouldn’t have expected to see.

Interesting changes.

It was no surprise to see Horsky and Kretinksy confirmed as the Irons shared that in their statement this week.

However, Cunningham and Sullivan Jr are interesting additions to the board, given their connections with people involved in West Ham.

Cunningham is Jacqueline Gold’s husband, who is the daughter of David Gold, so it seems as if the family favours are continuing despite Gold and Sullivan’s grip on the club loosening.

However, the names of Kretinsky and Horsky should provide some comfort to Irons fans, and they know that it wasn’t a dream.

Gold and Sullivan really have lost their controlling stake over the club, and there is a man who is passionate about football and is worth over £4billion willing to invest in the club and improve it.

So, the future looks bright for the Irons, and it will be intriguing to see what they do in the January transfer window.
