West Ham and Ryan Fredericks likely to part ways amid change in hierarchy

Ryan Fredericks could be on his way out of West Ham in the summer amid his recent shocker against Newcastle on Saturday.

According to Claret and Hugh, the Englishman is ‘almost certain’ to leave when his deal expires in the summer.

There is understood to be no clear hierarchy at the club in terms of the right-backs as Vladimir Coufal has been benched on numerous occasions while youngster Ben Johnson has grown into the role.

However, for the 29-year-old Fredericks, there just seems to be no way back at the club.

Good riddance

We were surprised that the right-back wasn’t shown the door in the January transfer window.

As his contract expires in the summer, it was the last window for the Hammers to get something in exchange for his services.

However, now he is free to discuss personal terms with any club outside England and move to his new team from July 1.

This is bad business from the club and it remains to be seen whether David Moyes wanted him to stay.

There were eyebrows raised when the manager picked the 29-year-old who was hailed for his “sensational” performances earlier in his Hammers career.

It’s time for all parties to part ways and we do not think we’re likely to see Fredericks play for another Premier League club next season.
